Types of Document Filing
- Saving data in Copy mode or Image Send mode
When you take a copy or send an image, the scanned original data is stored on the hard disk unit of the machine.
- [Quick File]:
Saves data without setting the file name and other information. You can quickly store data, but any person can access to the stored data.
- [File]:
Stores data together with various additional information. As you can protect data with password, you should use this option to store classified data.
- Saving data in Document Filing mode
You can scan an original image and save it on the hard disk unit of the machine or on an external memory device. You can store data together with various additional information.
- [Scan to HDD]:
Scans an original and saves it on the hard disk unit of the machine.
- [Scan to External Memory Device]:
This function scans an original and stores it on an external memory device such as a USB memory device.
